Graphite Electrode Paste is a high-performance conductive and connecting material specifically engineered for extreme-temperature industrial environments such as electric arc furnaces, submerged arc furnaces, and electrolytic cells. Composed of precisely selected high-purity natural/synthetic graphite grains, premium coal-tar pitch binders, and specialized additives, it is manufactured through accurate formulation and homogeneous mixing into a paste form. Its core function is to solidify under high temperatures, forming a robust, highly conductive joint that ensures durable, stable, and low-loss electrical energy transfer between electrodes or between electrodes and components.

  • Utilizes an optimized grain size distribution and high-bonding-strength pitch, ensuring a dense structure after curing. Its thermal expansion coefficient closely matches that of the electrode body, effectively absorbing thermal stress and minimizing crack formation at the joint.

  • Employs high-purity, high-crystallinity graphite raw materials with strict control over ash and impurity content. The paste forms a continuous graphitized network after sintering, ensuring excellent and stable electrical conductivity from room temperature to extreme operating temperatures (>1500°C).

  • Features precisely controlled volatile content and a tailored sintering profile, enabling the paste to undergo rapid, uniform carbonization and graphitization under defined heating regimes, resulting in a joint with consistent properties.

Applications

  • Steel & Ferrous Metallurgy

  • Silicon Metal & Ferroalloy Production

  • Non-Ferrous Metals Smelting

  • Graphitization & Other High-Temperature Electric Furnaces
