Graphite Foil is a highly versatile, flexible graphite material manufactured through a specialized calendering process using pure natural graphite. Unlike rigid graphite plates or blocks, our foil offers exceptional conformability while maintaining the fundamental properties of high-purity graphite. It is an engineered sealing and thermal management solution designed for demanding industrial applications where resilience, conductivity, and adaptability are critical.


  • The foil's compressibility and recovery allow it to form an excellent seal with significantly lower seating stress compared to many traditional gaskets, preventing leaks in delicate or low-pressure flange assemblies.

  • Made from >99% pure graphite, the foil is resistant to thermal shock, maintains integrity from cryogenic temperatures up to 3000°F (1650°C) in non-oxidizing atmospheres, and is impervious to most chemicals, acids, and solvents. It will not harden or become brittle over time.

  • The foil's natural flexibility allows it to conform closely to surface irregularities, filling in grooves and scratches that would cause leaks with harder materials. This reduces the need for perfect surface finishes, saving on machining costs.

  • Graphite foil has natural lubricity and non-stick properties. It disassembles cleanly without bonding to metal surfaces, simplifying maintenance and inspection, and protecting valuable equipment.
